CON.COR, Consorzio Fabbricanti Aste e Cornici (Mouldings and Frames
Consortium Italy), was founded in 1982 by a group of italian firms
all aiming to achieve a high level of qualification in the sector
of the Mouldings and Frames industry. Particularly it aims to offer
firms quality production criteria to satisfy the user requirements.
The aims are professional ones, and the firms belonging to the
Consortium have long experience and a good reputation; they represent
the majority of national production from a quantitative point of view
and the best from a qualitative pont of view. These are valid reasons
why CON.COR should act as a leading and qualifying organism for the
italian Mouldings and Frames industry.
The aim of the Consortium are explained in its Statute: "The
Consortium is a non profitmaking organization and intends to provide
for development of exports of the small and medium sized industries and
artisan businesses which produce picture frames, mouldings for frames,
woodem shaped pieces and similar items, according to law no. 83/1989,
and to promote system of collective importation, dealing with supply
of the raw materials, the semifinished pieces, the machinery and the
work instruments necessary.
It therefore establishes that it will:
organize the collection of information from the Consortium members
and give them proper assistance for all their needs in terms of
increasing exportation;
deal upon the request of those interested with the initiatives and
activities regarding exports by the individual firms belonging to the
Consortium;
assist the Consortium members in the negotiating and acquiring
orders with the exception of any commercial intermediation service;
carry out market research to identify production markets and deal
with collective advertising;
arrange collective exhibitions of the Consortium members products
and organize collective presentation at shows and trade-fairs;
carry out other activities which are closely connected to those
listed above, all the projects necessary and useful for achieving
the above aims and any other action geared to these aims".
In particular, as regards the collective exhibitions who be held Moscow (Mebel 2005 in November 2005), in Singapore, Paris, Madrid, Berlin,
Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Birmingham, New York, Atlanta, Toronto, Tokio,
Buenos Aires, San Paolo, Canton, Shangai, Mumbai, Delhi and Czech Republic. A careful
watch is kept on the traditional markets like the United States,
Japan, South America and Europe, the new highpotential markets such
as China, India, Russia, Mexico and South Africa and the supply and
commercial outlet areas like South-East Asia.
